signs
“Late-night rhythms, quiet epiphanies—Signs turns London’s roads into a compass for the heart.”
LOG-LINE
SIGNS is a kinetic, club‑forward concept album about noticing life’s guideposts on two wheels. Late‑night London rides become pulsing beats and reflective interludes; garage/2‑step, broken‑beat and left‑field electronica carry intimate, trilingual storytelling about courage, detours and choosing your own pace.
CONCEPT
Grounded in South London cycling routes & beyond, the album threads field recordings (wheels, wind, rain, traffic, GPS prompts) with UK 2‑step/UK Garage and dream‑pop melodics. It moves between kinetic release and meditative stillness—an intimate map of how we ride through setbacks and keep going.
STORYWORLD
• A ride‑through narrative set across London & Beyond (Richmond Park, Camberwell, Forest Hill, South Norwood, Devil’s Punch Bowl, Surrey Hill, New Forest).
• Each track is a ‘sign’—a cue to pause, feel and re‑calibrate (fear, grit, release, farewell, true north).
• Interludes function as breath marks between climbs and descents.
• Themes: confronting darkness, letting go of control, embracing slowness, and finding direction.
SONIC PALETTE / RIYLL
• Sonic palette: UK garage / 2‑step, broken‑beat, left‑field electronica, ambient interludes, dream‑pop textures.
• For fans of: Kelly Lee Owens • YAEJI • Mount Kimbie • Bicep (downtempo cuts).
MARKETING HOOKS
• Cycling/lifestyle crossover: London routes & Beyond, outdoor culture as story engine.
• Mental‑health adjacent: fear → grit → acceptance → direction (clear, relatable arc).
• Interludes for visualisers and live‑session content; strong visual world for rollout.
