This time, I returned to my old neighbourhood wearing Mugihiko Denim’s Charlotte5 jeans, a silhouette inspired by architect Charlotte Perriand.

Softly worn and quietly effortless, they carry a trace of French nostalgia—light, relaxed, and at ease with the rhythm of the day. I wandered through Nam Shan Estate, past the familiar green façades and the old playground glowing beneath the afternoon sun, while the denim moved gently with every step.

Some places hold time differently. They keep the colours, the warmth, and the memories waiting for us to return. Like a light layer in the summer breeze, the Charlotte5 made the journey feel natural and unhurried—as though coming home could be something both familiar and new.
